In this page, you will find detailed information for the various materials used in our products, along with valuable tips on how to care for them. To ensure your product remains in optimal condition, follow the instructions.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Promptly address stains to prevent lasting damage to your furniture.
  • Keep your pieces out of direct sunlight and away from intense heat sources to minimize changes.
  • Wood, being a natural material, will change color and develop a patina over time.
  • Fabrics are prone to fading and weakening at the seams when exposed to sunlight or strong heat, while dust and dirt will gradually wear them down.
  • Regular cleaning is essential to maintain the upholstery’s appearance and extend its lifespan.
  • When relocating your furniture, lift it instead of dragging it to avoid damage to floors, legs, and mountings.
  • Refrain from improper use, such as sitting on backs or armrests, tilting seats, placing feet on furniture, or standing on it.
  • Use coasters under damp, hot, or colored objects to prevent stains.
  • Avoid scratching or damaging surfaces with sharp objects.
  • For cleaning surfaces, use a neutral detergent dissolved in water.
  • Ensure the detergent is appropriate for the specific material and avoid soaking porous materials like wood and marble, as this can cause blemishes over time.
  • For disinfection, alcohol-based products with 70% to 85% ethanol can be used on plastic and chrome-plated or powder-coated metal surfaces.
  • To prevent surface damage from repeated disinfectant use, follow up with a wipe-down using a cloth dampened with water.
  • Alcohol-based solutions at 70% concentration can be used on textiles but should not be used on leather as it will cause damage.
  • Always test disinfectants on an inconspicuous area before applying them to the entire surface.

ALUMINUM

Our products achieve exceptional strength, ease of use, and resistance to rust. This high-quality material ensures superior performance and aesthetic appeal.

Maintenance: To maintain your product’s quality over time, we suggest regular cleaning, especially in areas with high humidity or near the sea. Clean the surfaces with a soft cloth and water or mild detergents. Extended exposure to intense UV light or extremely low temperatures may affect the color. For optimal preservation, clean and store your items in protected areas during prolonged periods of inactivity and throughout the winter.

TEXTYLENE

Textile is a polyester fiber coated with PVC, creating a particularly strong material that resists stretching and wear. Its key features include high elasticity, excellent resistance to mold and stains, and a UV-resistant surface treatment.

Maintenance: Clean textile with a sponge cloth and soapy water. Avoid using abrasives and solvents. Thanks to its open structure, textile dries very quickly.

BELTS

Elastic belts are crafted from woven synthetic materials specifically designed for outdoor use.

Maintenance: Avoid prolonged exposure to greasy substances or dyes, as these can be absorbed by the material and cause permanent stains or damage to the yarn structure. Refrain from using solvents. Clean with water and non-abrasive liquid detergents that have a neutral pH and are colorless.

FABRICS

Regularly vacuum your furniture using the upholstery nozzle to remove dust and prevent fluff and pilling. Occasionally, straighten the fabric with your hands. To smooth out wrinkles, use a steamer. If liquids spill, immediately blot the area with an absorbent napkin or cloth, dabbing gently towards the center of the stain. Avoid using concentrated detergents, bleach, ammonia, optical brighteners, or soaps meant for hard surfaces. Spot cleaning is not recommended as it can damage the fabric and cause color loss. For wool fabrics, most stains can be removed with lukewarm water and a clean, lint-free cloth. If needed, add a small amount of neutral detergent. Do not rub the material vigorously, as this can cause color loss and fabric damage. Using a hairdryer may help to prevent water marks. If a stain persists, consult a professional cleaner.

ECO-LEATHER
The leather used is characterized by its exceptional durability and superior technical qualities, making it particularly suitable for outdoor furniture applications. It is highly resistant to various substances, including seawater, chlorinated water, mayonnaise, ketchup, red wine, coffee, and mold.

Care and Maintenance: To maintain its pristine condition, gently clean the leather with a dry, soft cloth moistened with a sanitizing solution. Allow it to air dry naturally at room temperature, avoiding the use of heat sources for forced drying.

WOOD

TEAK: This premium wood is ideal for outdoor furniture due to its exceptional resistance to temperature changes, water, humidity, and salt.

IROKO: Known for its mechanical strength and workability, Iroko wood offers stability, medium-high hardness, and excellent resistance to deformation, ensuring durability.

Maintenance: As a natural material, wood may exhibit color variations or cracks due to humidity levels and temperature changes. Without periodic maintenance using common protective oils, the surface may develop a silver-gray patina, removable with light sanding and polishing. Promptly remove superficial stains from oil or food by sanding the affected area and polishing with a jute cloth.
